Jane's first vacation

Last week we took Jane to Destin, FL for Spring Break.  It was her first road trip and she did great!  It only took us 8hrs 15min to get there... woo!  We traveled with our wonderful friends, Andrew and Rachael Martelle and their awesome one-year-old, Wilder.  Both kids were troopers!
The weather was a bit chilly but sooo pretty.  George made us a nice wind break with the umbrellas, so we were quite toasty once we camped out behind them.  Here is a picture of our not-so-subtle camp.
1 baby + 1 toddler + 4 adults = lots of gear!

Jane was a great little beach baby.  She enjoyed a wide variety of activities like sleeping in her car seat...

...and sleeping in the sling...

...and sleeping in the Moby wrap...

Oh, and one time she was awake!

She also had fun back at the condo hanging out with dad, reading with mom, and learning to kick her mobile!

What a great trip!
P.S.  Yes, she is wearing leg warmers in the picture above.  I guess I'm getting back to my own childhood roots in the 80's.  I've got my crimper ready as soon as she has hair.

  2. Actually, you are the one who told me they even existed! Then I saw some at Target on my weekly (daily) pilgrimage. So fun!
